I’m Lisa, the Chair of Lippy Ladies.

I started riding in April 1996, learning at Wembley stadium car park and navigating the North Circular on a 125cc. Within a week I had passed my test, bought myself a Bandit 600 and never looked back. My current bike is a Gsr750, which has been with me on many adventures round the UK and overseas.

I have been a member of Lippy Ladies since it started, in 2012, and over the years this group has supported and encouraged me, and many others, with improving riding skills and knowledge. From motorbike maintenance to off road skills, machine control and bike safety, whilst having fun along the way, I have made some amazing friends.

The Lippies are all about welcoming women of all riding abilities and bikes, whether it’s a get together over coffee and cake, virtual or in person, a few hours out on the bikes or a big adventure, there’s something for everyone. If this sounds like your thing then contact us at: info@lippyladiesmcc.co.uk

Hi, I’m Helen and I’m the vice chair.

Well, what can I say about myself, well I’m no spring chicken and I passed my test on a motorbike when I was 17 years old… A very long time ago!

I joined the Lippy Ladies in 2012 and what an amazing and brilliant roller coaster it has been. I was so nervous going on my first weekend away, I nearly chickened out, but I’m so glad I did it as I have met lifelong friends because of the club. The club will help you build confidence to fulfill your motorbiking dreams.

I love (with a capital L) motorbikes and travelling both in the UK and further afield too. The club has made my confidence grow and grow, and it could do the same for you. I’ve been to France and Germany with the club, but mostly we stay in the UK. Scotland has some of the best roads in world anyway!!

Hopefully in 2021, we’ll all be able to get back to some sort of normality and get out and about again in search of great roads, great cake and ice cream. If you want to spend some time with some amazing ladies, and make new friends look no further than the Lippy Ladies. To join contact us at: info@lippyladiesmcc.co.uk

I’m Alice & I’m the current treasurer on the committee. Here I am on my trusty Sir Trevor Ripple...

I passed my test in the March of 2010. A mate was learning to ride and I thought, hey what a great idea, I want some of that! It falls into the category of some of the best things I've ever done.

I have owned several motorcycles in that time, some of which include a Yamaha Fazer, a Ducati Monster 696 and I've even spent some time on a 50cc Vespa.
I'm currently riding a Triumph Street Triple.

If all of that wasn't enough to put a smile on my face, I then found the Lippy Ladies and I haven't looked back since (except for shoulder checks!)

The Lippies are a fabulous group of ladies who provide support, encouragement, a barrel of laughs and know the best motorcycle routes to all the best cake/ice cream stops in Yorkshire and far beyond. It's a tough choice between fresh 'Schwarzwaldkirchetorte' in the Black Forest in Germany or fresh ice cream from the dairy on the A54, Macclesfield.

If you love bikes, want to ride out with like-minded ladies, gain confidence, improve your riding or just have cracking good fun then contact us at: info@lippyladiesmcc.co.uk

I’m Elle & I’m the current secretary on the committee.

I started riding a 125 in March 2014, obtained my full licence in November 2014 and went on to complete my ROSPA Advanced Riding qualification in May 2016. I am thoroughly enjoying every minute!!!!!

After I had my 125 I rode a Suzuki Bandit 650 for 18 months then changed to a Suzuki Bandit 1250 so I could carry my hair dryer, straighteners and luggage for trips away.

I have been a member of Lippy Ladies since February 2014 (before I'd even bought my learner bike) and they have supported me all the way through learning to ride, progressing and improving my skills.  The Lippies are some of the best friends I have and I would not be without them now :-)

I enjoy getting together for the ride outs in search of cake and the Lippy weekends away are fantastic, always eventful and usually hilarious. I feel so lucky to be part of such a great group of women!!!

If this sounds like something that you'd like to be a part of, then w
